The course is twelve (12) hours long and exceeds requirements needed to apply for a CCW permit in Ohio, Floridia, and 44 other states..  It will build confidence in gun handling and develop the proper mindset

• You will have the ability to name, explain and demonstrate the rules for safe handling of a handgun and proper storage practices for handguns and ammunition.
• You will have the ability to demonstrate and explain how to handle ammunition in a safe manner.
• You will demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to shoot a handgun in a safe manner.
• You will receive gun handling training.
• You will develope basic shooting skills including proper stance, sight alignment, and target acquisition.
• We will provide training on the legal aspects related to CCW and the Ohio Revised Code.
• We will cover weapon retention.
• We also show methods of shot avoidance.
• You will develop a defensive mindset, awareness, avoidance & de-escalation, and methods of carry. 
• The CCW Permit Course Includes (4) Hours covering Legal Issues

• A valid picture ID
• Safe working handgun (We now have hand guns and holsters for rent) 
• Holster of choice for CCW (Must fit gun properly)
• Minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition
• Eye and ear protection
• Bring a lunch & drink. (WE DO NOT LEAVE THE CLASS ROOM FOR LUNCH) 
• Please CLEAN (and test fire if possible) your handgun before bringing it to the class to insure that it works properly.
